Dark Carnival Weekend Ends

Dark Carnival Film Fest came to a close Sunday night, fun had by all. We had a great time and got to meet Michael Berryman (look for Bob's photo coming soon). It was a great time and a wonderful learning experience for us. We got to pick some brains (no pun intended) of some very sweet and talented people. Our sincere thanks to all who organized and all who attended!

We look forward to another event soon. BTW, who knew it was kosher to drink at these events? Good times!

Two festival attendees, Ashley and Eric, were nice enough to send me a photo from their i phone of the scare-icature and here it is in all its glory.

Bela Lugosi

Ah, Bela.

He has a striking resemblance to "Little Steven" Van Sandt.

Alien

This one is also very customizable. As long as you know the basic anatomy of the alien, you can screw with this guy a bit... 45 minutes.

Nosferatu

This was a fun first try. You can stylize him many different ways.

I will do another Nosferatu soon.

Frankenstein

Beast, you have thrown down the gauntlet!

This Frankenstein took me 1 hour.
Beat that Bob!

Beetle Self Portrait

This was a fun experiment. It was done with ebony pencil and the color was added with PS CS3
More to come!

Business cards

These were some designs that I drew up for a buddy at the old tattoo studio I used to work at. I think I still need to get paid for these. They're not much but I still think they're cool. If you need some contact me at beetlegraphix@hotmail.com.

Welcome To Scare-icatures!

Good Eeeevening...

Welcome to Alexander Beast's Scare-icatures. We are a niche that caters to everything gouhlish, macabre, and twisted. Our caricatures are not your everyday caricatures. Our art is the tradition of Creepy, Eerie, and Fangoria but with also a humorous touch of Mad Magazine, Cracked and National Lampoon.

Here we will showcase our artwork and keep you posted on our upcoming events and appearances. Please bookmark us, check back soon, and we'll have lots more up!

Enjoy!
